Welcome to Paris!  Upon entering the arrivals hall at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Orly Airport (ORY), a driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Our guide will be ready to welcome you and will provide the necessary information.

We include a scenic guided tour of Paris. Discover the history, main boulevards, and the breathtaking monuments of the City of Lights. Later, we provide a transfer to the Montmartre district, known for its painters, artists, and cabarets. Time for lunch (own expense). Return to the hotel or stay to enjoy more free time to discover Paris.

On Day 3 we include a transfer to Versailles, with its immense palace and beautiful gardens, admission not included. The afternoon in Paris is yours to uncover the city's myriad hidden gems.

Departing from Paris early in the morning, we drive to Giverny for a visit to Monet House and Garden, admission for which is included in your package. Afterward we drive to Rouen, the capital of Normandy with its medieval streets and cathedral. Time for a stroll and lunch (own expense). We then make our way to Arromanches, whose beaches on which we remember D-Day. Overnight in Caen.

On Day 5 we travel to Mont Saint-Michel, with ample time to see the town perched on a rock surrounded by the sea. In Brittany we will visit Saint Malo, whose powerful walls once defended the city against attack. Free time for lunch (own expense). In the afternoon we'll take a stroll in Dinan, a Breton village full of charm. Next stop: Rennes, the capital of Brittany.

In the morning we depart for Angers. Those who wish can visit the castle that houses the largest medieval tapestry on the Apocalypse. After this we drive to the Loire Valley, stopping first in Tours, the regional capital on the banks of the Loire River. Time for a stroll and lunch (own expense). In the afternoon we will visit the Gardens of Villandry, included in the display price. Continue to Amboise for an included dinner and overnight accommodations.

We'll take a stroll around Amboise, stopping by the statue of Leonardo da Vinci, on an island of the Loire. On the last day we include admission to the Chateau de Chenonceau, in the shape of a bridge over the river. We will also visit Chambord, the largest of the castles of the Loire. We will then travel to the center of France, stopping for a short break in Argenton sur Creuse, a small medieval town on the banks of the river Creuse. Overnight in Limoges.

In Limoges we include a brief guided tour of the city, its cathedral, the old station, and the Porcelain Museum (entrance included), housing one of the most beautiful porcelain collections in the world. We continue to Collonge la Rouge, a picturesque village along the Way of St. James. Free time for lunch (own expense). After lunch we'll visit the impressive Padirac caves and take a boat trip 75 meters underground, included in the display price. Our last stop on Day 8: Rocamadour, a beautiful mediaval village with an important sanctuary suspended above the village on a high cliff. We recommend a stroll down the via crucis followed by an ascent by lift. Dinner is included.

We are now in the region of the Dordogne, one of the great historic rivers of central France. Few regions contain so many charming villages, and so much unforgettable scenery. We'll take a stroll around La Roque Gageac, a small village full of flowers on the banks of the Dordogne. In Beynac we'll visit a medieval castle perched above the river (admission included). Then we'll make a stop in Sarlat-la-Caneda for a stroll through the incredibly well-preserved Renaissance historic center. Free time for lunch (own expense). Afterward we travel to St. Emilion, in the heart of Bordeaux wine country. Time for a stroll. We include a visit to an ancient wine establishment, tasting included. Overnight in Bordeaux.

In the morning, we include a 2-hour tour of Bordeaux with a local guide. The 11-century cathedral, the Theatre of Bordeaux, the monument to the Girondins, and the Place Royale all stand out. Free time. After lunch (own expense) we take you to the railway station, where we include a ticket to Paris on the modern high-speed train. In a little under two hours, you will cover the 500 km between Bordeaux and Paris. Arrival in Paris. End of our services. Check the time of your flight in case you need an additional night in Paris.
