Rising over 10,000 feet above sea level Haleakala is Maui's, "House of the Sun" in Hawaiian lore. Witness the breaking of a new day at the top of Mt. Haleakala. Renown for its raw beauty and unique scenery, Haleakala National Park, the Visitor Center and Pu`u Ula`ula Overlook will delight and amaze you. Dress warmly for the summit. During this brief closure, guests will still stop at 7,000 ft. elevation to enjoy the Haleakalā silversword and restroom facilities. Items normally available at the Rangers Station will be available at the Haleakalā Visitor Center at 9,740 ft. elevation, including the National Park stamp. *Due to a fallen tree, Rainbow Falls cannot be visited till November 7, 2019. Additional time will be spent at other tour stops.
