Best Vilnius Tours in September

This capital city of twisting cobblestone streets and Baroque and Neoclassical architecture is one of Europe’s best-kept secrets. Vilnius, in fact, possesses Europe’s largest Baroque old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vilnius before WWII was often referred to as the "Jerusalem of Europe" due to its large Jewish population, which was all but decimated during the war. Visitors to Vilnius today should not miss the Museum of Genocide Victims, which is located in the former headquarters of the Soviet KGB and prior to that the German Gestapo headquarters.
