Its most recent claim to fame is the world's very first million-dollar coin, certified by Guinness World Records to be the largest coin in the world (app. 19.7 inches in diameter). The Royal Canadian Mint also produced the world's first 10-kg gold coin of 99.999% purity. Also on display at the mint are the medals from the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Beautiful and Diverse Experience

This was my first visit to Canada, and I couldn’t have chosen a better way to explore! The 10-day tour started in the bustling city of Montreal and took us through a wonderful variety of landscapes. Algonquin Park was peaceful and lush, and Susanne Marie and Marathon Township added an interesting rural touch. Calgary’s mix of culture and modernity was exciting. Banff and Jasper National Parks were stunningly beautiful, with majestic peaks and pristine lakes. The entire trip was well-organized, and our guide made sure we had all the information we needed to fully enjoy the experience. Truly a memorable vacation!
