I am so glad I chose this tour. It was a perfect introduction to Costa Rica. The warmth of the people and the beauty of the landscapes were incredible. The guide's passion for the environment was infectious.
This 16-day adventure is no joke. We rafted class III rapids on the Pacuare River, zip-lined through Monteverde clouds, hiked to the base of Arenal, and kayaked in the Osa Peninsula. The guide, Esteban, was a former white-water guide. The only downside: the day 9 hike was very muddy and slippery – bring good boots.
