Best Palace Of Fine Arts Tours & Trips

Originally built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition, the elegant San Francisco structure still stands in its original location though it was rebuilt in 1965 and underwent renovations in 2009. Palace of Fine Arts was designed by Bernard Maybeck and today hosts art exhibitions, musical performances and theatrical events. It is a popular event venue with its beautiful lagoon reflecting the magnificent Beaux-Arts architecture. The grand palace is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places and a smaller scale replica was constructed in Disney's California Adventure Park in Anaheim.

This tour was a fantastic way to explore California in a short time. Pebble Beach and the scenic 17-Mile Drive were absolutely beautiful. In San Francisco, we visited Lombard Street and the impressive Golden Gate Bridge, which looked incredible from the viewpoints. The trip to Yosemite National Park was definitely the highlight, with breathtaking scenery and fresh mountain air.

great tour! highly recommended!

This was my second time with Tours4Fun. First was with my husband and now with my friends. We are a group of 5 travelling together and we enjoyed this tour. The tour guide is good and very helpful. Good itinerary but little bit tight in term of time. It was a very fast one but we were able to be in a lot of places for a single day trip in San Francisco. Wished we could have more time.
