Our small group of friends enjoyed having a clear plan while still getting a few quiet moments. Seeing Old Quebec lived up to expectations, and I was equally glad the itinerary included Petit Champlain. The pace is full rather than leisurely, but it suited our goal of seeing several cities in a few days. We left our evenings simple and usually found an easy meal near the hotel. The early mornings took some adjustment, but they made sense for the distance covered. Overall, the route felt coherent and gave each stop its own purpose.
