Best Old North Church Tours in April

The Georgian style church built in 1723 in Boston marks its place in United States history on April 18,1775 when the famous "One if by land, and two if by sea" alert was utilized when church sexton Robert Newman and vestryman Capt. John Pulling held two lanterns atop the steeple after being warned by Paul Revere about the British approaching by sea before Revere's midnight ride and the start of the American Revolution. Old North Church that is officially called Christ Church in the City of Boston has a Paul Revere statue outside, a George Washington bust inside and eight bells, which are the oldest in the U.S. made in Gloucester, England in 1744.
