Best Longji Terraces Tours in October

Nestled in the lush mountains of Guangxi, the Longji Terraces unfold like a living painting sculpted over centuries by diligent hands. These cascading rice paddies, best seen from winding trails near Ping’an or Dazhai villages, reveal breathtaking layers that shift with the seasons - golden in autumn, silver with water in spring. Hiking through misty ridges offers intimate glimpses of Zhuang and Yao cultures, where wooden stilt houses cling to slopes and local traditions thrive. The rhythmic beauty of the terraces, especially at sunrise when light spills into the valleys, captures both nature’s grace and human perseverance. Nearby, the village of Huangluo showcases vibrant red headwraps worn by Red Yao women, adding cultural depth to scenic wonder.
