Best Leshan Tours & Trips

Leshan invites travelers to experience its rich cultural tapestry and stunning natural landscapes in Sichuan Province. The city's crown jewel is the 71-meter-tall Leshan Giant Buddha, carved into a riverside cliff over 1,200 years ago and visible from the confluence of the Min, Dadu, and Qingyi Rivers. Hiking the winding paths beside the Buddha offers breathtaking views, while a boat ride below provides awe-inspiring perspective. Nearby, Mount Emei - a UNESCO World Heritage site - beckons pilgrims and hikers alike with ancient temples, diverse wildlife, and mist-shrouded peaks. The Sheshan Temple and Baoguo Temple reflect centuries of Buddhist devotion, nestled within lush forests. Leshan’s vibrant food scene delights with bold Sichuan flavors, especially its spicy hotpot and tender beef dishes. With its blend of spiritual heritage, scenic beauty, and culinary depth, Leshan delivers a quietly powerful journey through history and nature.
