The site was first opened in 1871 as Grand Central Depot for three rail lines and renovated to become Grand Central Station in 1900. It was redesigned and rebuilt to open as Grand Central Terminal in 1913. The Beaux-Arts architectural gem attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors per day for commuting, dining, shopping, special events and tours.

7-Day US East Coast Panorama Classic Tour

We did the New York City tour with our guide Ting Ting today and covered all the highlight places including Roosevelt Island, Bryant Park, The Vessel, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Grand Central Station, Central Park, and finally HighLand Gardens. The overall experience was amazing and Ting Ting was extremely courteous and made our whole experience awesome. She has also got great photography.

This tour covered so much without feeling tiring. Central Park was peaceful compared to the energy of Times Square. The visit to Whirlpool State Park showed a dramatic side of Niagara I hadn’t seen before. Ending the day with ice wine tasting in Niagara-on-the-Lake was a lovely touch.
