I loved walking through the fairy chimneys and the underground cities, which gave me a real sense of history. The Goreme Open Air Museum was beautiful, and the local pottery-making experience was one of the coolest parts of the trip. The food was also fantastic — the Turkish cuisine is a highlight in itself! Our guide was fantastic — informative, friendly, and always ready to answer questions. The accommodation was cozy and gave us a nice, restful night. The flight to Cappadocia was short and smooth, and the air-conditioned van was very comfortable.

What an amazing tour set up by the Turkish tour operator thru ***. From being picked up at Istanbul to the staff and owner at the 1811 Cave Hotel at Cappadocia. The cave hotel was so unique and clean. The breakfast was wonderful. The fun trip with the young man who took me on the ATV trip exploring by land. The unique hot air balloon trip with personal pick up/ drop off at all points. Most especially big thanks to the tour guides on Saturday and Sunday! They were knowledgeable and very personable. They are a true gem to treasure! It was a delight spending the day with them seeing and learning all that the Cappadocia area provides. I learned so much!
