Best Ciqikou Tours in July

Ciqikou, a living relic of old Chongqing where cobblestone lanes wind past wooden stilt houses echoing with centuries of trade. Once a bustling porcelain port along the Jialing River, this ancient town now invites travelers to savor spicy street snacks like ma hua twist dough while exploring hidden teahouses tucked behind red lanterns. Wander through the Baolun Temple's serene courtyards or browse handcrafted pottery shops that honor the area's fiery kiln heritage. As dusk falls, the glow from traditional paper lamps reflects off wet stones, creating an atmosphere both timeless and vibrant. Whether you seek cultural depth or simple charm, Ciqikou offers an authentic slice of southwestern China's soul without the pretense of modern tourism.
