Accepted Answer

Take a shuttle or train from Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport to Lyon Part-Dieu Station, then board a high-speed TGV or TER train to Beaune. The total journey takes about 2–2.5 hours. Trains to Beaune run regularly, and tickets can be booked in advance via SNCF’s website for better rates and seat selection.

Is the Bourgogne Pass worth it for visiting Beaune’s wine cellars and historic sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Bourgogne Pass offers discounted or free entry to key attractions like the Hôtel-Dieu Museum, Château de Pommard, and other regional sites. It also includes unlimited regional bus travel. If you plan to visit 2+ paid attractions within 2–3 days, the pass quickly pays for itself and simplifies access.
