This Gothic Revival–style cathedral is one of the finest examples of English-style Gothic churches in the world, and is located in the center of Sydney. St. Mary’s Cathedral is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese and the seat of Archbishop of Sydney. The glass and stone structure has also been designated a minor basilica, and is one of Sydney’s most treasured historic buildings.
