Roosevelt Island Map / Location

Located in New York's East River, between the island of Manhattan and Queens, Roosevelt Island is a narrow island that makes up the census of Manhattan. With more than 11,000 residents, Roosevelt Island was named after former president Franklin D. Roosevelt. The city of New York owns Roosevelt Island but is leased to New York's Urban Development Corporation; most residential buildings on the island are rentals.
