Helmcken Falls Map / Location

The fourth highest waterfall in Canada, Helmcken Falls is a 463-foot (141 m) waterfall on the Murtle River within Wells Gray Provincial Park in east central British Columbia, Canada. Though it is spectacular in the summertime, this waterfall is also worth seeing in the winter as it grows a 50m-tall ice cone from its base. Several hiking trails lead to the falls, but it is also accessible by road. A panorama of the falls and canyon is visible from the viewing platform on the rim of the canyon.
