See Cardiff’s most important historical relic and the city’s most visited attraction. Cardiff Castle is a restored mock-medieval structure with a different theme for each room. Its 13th-century Black Tower doubled as a prison for William the Conqueror’s eldest son Robert, who was imprisoned here by his brother King Henry I until his death.
