Jiufen was my favorite part — the winding old streets, tea houses, and views of the coast are stunning. The taro balls are a must-try! Shifen Waterfall is impressive ("Little Niagara" is accurate), and flying the sky lantern on the train tracks was a unique experience. Great value for a full day.
Sun Moon Lake was stunning, and the hotel there was a highlight. The guide spoke good English. It’s a packed 5 days — we covered so much — but I wish we had more time in Kenting
My husband and I loved this tour! Communication after booking was very responsive and helpful. The tour itself was great...beautiful hotels in good city locations with excellent breakfasts included, all were close to convenience stores and ATMs. Nicely paced and well organized itinerary,. Guides spoke English well and were very dedicated to make sure everyone was taken care of. Lots of information provided. This tour is great for a taste of Taipei!
A very full week, but worth it. The hotels were genuinely 5-star — the Fleur de Chine at Sun Moon Lake was a dream. The only downside was that some days felt a bit rushed, especially day 3 with Tainan and Kaohsiung in one day. Still, I understand the need to cover so much ground.
