Day 1 - ARRIVE IN HONOLULU Welcome to Honolulu! Meet your Tour Director in the lobby between 3pm and 6pm.TOUR HIGHLIGHTISLAND LIFE Located on the south shore of Oahu, this capital city is known for its white-sand beaches, cosmopolitan shopping, eclectic dining, and famed sites. Once the home of Hawaiian royalty, Honolulu now welcomes millions of visitors from around the world to explore this tropical paradise.
Day 2 - HONOLULU. EXCURSION TO PEARL HARBOR Heritage & Heroes This morning, meet with your Tour Director and travel companions for breakfast and a welcome meeting. Next, head out on a guided sightseeing tour that includes Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial and Museum, the Punchbowl National Cemetery, Chinatown, the Hawaii State Capitol, "Iolani Palace, and Kamehameha the Great statue. Tonight, enjoy an included dinner at your hotel. (B,D)TOUR HIGHLIGHTREMEMBRANCE ON THE SEA Visit the National Memorial and learn about one of the most pivotal moments in U.S. and world history. Cruise over to the USS Arizona Memorial and pay your respects to the 1,177 crewmen that were killed here on December 7, 1941. To this day, over 900 crewmen are entombed in the ship's wreckage 40 feet below the water here. Visit the museum to learn about Pearl Harbor Day, the Japanese strategy and military craft, and the individuals involved in the attack. Day 3 - HONOLULU Polynesian Pleasures Today is free to relax, swim, enjoy water sports, or laze on the beach. Perhaps take an optional evening dinner cruise highlighting Waikiki, Diamond Head, and the Kahala Gold Coast from the water! Day 4 - HONOLULU-KONA Hawaiian Heritage Board a morning flight to the "Big Island" of Hawaii. Upon arrival in Kona, visit Kailua-Kona, the seaside town once home to Hawaiian royalty. Enjoy a tour and tasting at the Kona Sea Salt Farm, the only salt in the world made from deep ocean waters 2,200 feet (670 m) below the surface. Explore the salt's significance in Hawaiian culture and traditions during the guided tour. Continue to your resort. Tonight, join your Tour Director for a [LF] festive luau. You'll have the chance to learn to hula, try some traditional Hawaiian specialties, and see captivating performances by Polynesian musicians and dancers. (B,D)LOCAL FAVORITETASTES & TRADITION Join a spectacular cultural experience at tonight's Feast & Fire Luau. Sit under the stars along the majestic Kona coast with breathtaking ocean and mountain views. Feast on mouth-watering island fare while dancers, musicians, and artists bring the stage to life through traditional dance, live theatrical performances, and music.
Day 5 - KONA. EXCURSION TO HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK The Living Earth This morning, visit Kona Coffee Living History Farm to experience the local coffee industry. Continue to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the climate ranges from desert to tropical rainforest. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park includes Mauna Loa and Kilauea, sacred cultural landscapes for Native Hawaiians and two of the world's most active and accessible volcanoes. See Kilauea Crater, rising 4,090 feet above a volcanic wonderland of steaming fire pits, lava tubes, and fern forests. Next, enjoy an included lunch followed by a stop at [LF] Punalu'u Bake Shop to sample the famous Hawaiian malasada introduced to the area by Portuguese sugar workers in the 19th century. This traditional treat is not to be missed! Tonight, enjoy free time this evening at your resort. (B,L)LOCAL FAVORITELOCAL TASTES Hawaiian malasadas date back to the 19th century when an influx of Portuguese sugar workers arrived in Hawaii. In 1952, the grandson of Portuguese immigrants from the Azores Islands, Leonard Rego, opened a bakery and was the first to use island fresh eggs to make them golden brown on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. The bread has grown in popularity and is a must try when on the Hawai'i!TOUR HIGHLIGHTLOCAL BREW Something's brewing at the Kona Coffee Living History Farm. Day 6 - KONA Snorkel, Sea & Sand Today is free for independent activities. Find a special place to relax poolside and enjoy the warm tropical sun and balmy breezes or enjoy an optional snorkel cruise to Kealakekua Bay. Day 7 - KONA - MAUI Magical Maui A morning flight takes you to the "Valley Island" of Maui. Drive to the lush `Iao Valley to see the `Iao Needle, a spectacular volcanic spire. Continue to Ka`anapali, your home for the next three nights. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B,D) TOUR HIGHLIGHT ACCOMMODATION SPOTLIGHT Built around legendary Puu Kekaa (Black Rock) on famous Kaanapali Beach, Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa welcomes guests to enjoy spectacular views and wide-open spaces for soulful reflection and a deeper connection to nature. A perfect spot for watching whales and the sun setting into the Pacific. The natural cove is a favorite snorkel location for encounters with honu (green sea turtles). Day 8 - MAUI Watercolor Wonders Today enjoy an included visit to the Maui Ocean Center, recognized as one of the top aquariums in the world. Plunge into the Pacific and connect with astonishing marine animals at this multi-sensory aquarium, which has been inspiring ocean enthusiasts for the past 25 years. Day 9 - MAUI Take the High Road Enjoy a free day in Maui. Perhaps take an optional excursion to Heavenly Hana. There's plenty of time in the afternoon to relax and enjoy your hotel's facilities and beach. 1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a status update email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
