Bryce Canyon was a highlight I didn't expect. The hoodoos – those red rock spires – look like a forest of stone. We spent about 1.5 hours there, walking along the rim trail. The sunset colors were breathtaking. It's totally different from the Grand Canyon but equally impressive.

The free upgrade to the brand-new Fontainebleau Las Vegas was a huge surprise! We stayed there on Night 1 and Night 7. The rooms were stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a gorgeous pool area. After days in the national parks, coming back to this luxury felt like a treat. Way better than the typical budget hotels on these tours.

I didn't know much about Salt Lake City, but the visit to Temple Square and the Utah State Capitol was fascinating. The guide explained the history of the Mormon pioneers and we saw the famous organ in the Tabernacle. A nice cultural break before heading back to Vegas.

This 8-day tour is a marathon – early mornings, long drives, and a lot of walking. But it's an absolutely incredible value for the sheer number of sights you see: 4 national parks, 2 tribal parks, and 2 major cities. The hotel upgrades and included breakfasts helped. If you want to see the American West's greatest hits without planning anything, this is the tour for you. Just be prepared to be tired but happy at the end.
