Washington National Cathedral & Georgetown (Yellow Loop) Before 3/31/2017: Departs at Fords Theatre / 10th Street from 9:00am - 4:00pm, daily every 2 hours. Tour length: 1.5 hours From 4/1/2017: Departs at Fords Theatre / 10th Street from 10:00am - 3:45pm, daily every 30 minutes. Tour length: 1 hour 20 minutes The second largest cathedral in the United States is found in the District’s Northwest quadrant. Washington National Cathedral is a spiritual hub open to all and a stunning work of Gothic architecture featuring stained glass, ornate carvings and vaulted ceilings. Tour length: 30 minutes On these hallowed grounds, rows and rows of white headstones mark the graves of more than 400,000 fallen soldiers. The 642-acre Arlington National Cemetery honors all those who’ve served our country. Here, you’ll find the Kennedy gravesite and witness the Changing of the Guards at the somber Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
