The highlight for me was definitely the visit to Cappadocia, but even there, the itinerary didn’t allow enough time to fully enjoy the landscape and activities. The meals were fine, but I expected a bit more variety, especially for dinner. The biggest disappointment was the accommodations. Some were outdated and didn’t meet the 4-star standard I was expecting, especially in the more remote areas. I understand there are time constraints, but I really felt that the trip needed to be better balanced. Our guide, Asli, was informative, but sometimes it felt like she was rushing through the explanations to keep the schedule tight. The accommodations were fine — nothing too fancy, but decent enough for the price. It’s a great way to see Turkey in a short amount of time, but a little more time in each location would’ve made it perfect.
