Itinerary

Great Ocean Road tours are a highlight for many visitors to Melbourne. Departing Melbourne around 8:00 AM, enjoy panoramic views of the city and Port Phillip Bay as you cross the Westgate Bridge, Australia's longest bridge at 2.6 km. Pass through Geelong and reach the Surf Coast with its enchanting towns and powerful swells.
At Torquay, visit the beach and enjoy complimentary morning tea before setting off along the Great Ocean Road. Your experienced driver-guide provides commentary on the road's history and significance. Along the way, stop for photos at the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch at Eastern View.
At Kennett River, spot koalas in the wild and observe vibrant birdlife, including crimson rosellas and king parrots. Stop for lunch in Apollo Bay and continue into the Otway Ranges for a rainforest walk among towering eucalyptus trees.
The journey then leads to Port Campbell National Park, home to the iconic Twelve Apostles. Here, guests can opt for a helicopter flight (from $165 per person) or descend Gibsons Steps to see the formations up close. Visit Loch Ard Gorge and learn about the dramatic 1878 shipwreck. Though access to the gorge is temporarily restricted, other spectacular viewpoints remain accessible.
On the return journey, stop for dinner and cross the illuminated Westgate Bridge, arriving in Melbourne around 9:00–9:30 PM.
