If you are looking for an amazing experience and spectacular views, join us for a day trip to the breathtaking El Caminito del Rey (The King's Pathway). Once we have arrived at the Conde de Guadalhorce Dam, the main water reserve in the province of Malaga, your guide will explain the history of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a gorge carved by the River Guadalhorce. Construction of a water channel from the reservoirs in the north to El Chorro was carried out together with a pathway known as El Caminito del Rey, first christened by King Alfonso XIII. The path is about 3 kilometers long, less than one meter wide, and hangs about 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River.

Tips

The guided tour of the Caminito del Rey involves 2.5 to 3 hours of walking; comfortable shoes and clothing are essential. Children below the age of 8 are forbidden to enter the Caminito del Rey. The path is not recommended for people with reduced mobility, or those who might suffer from vertigo or dizziness. We recommend that guests bring their own water and snacks.
