Itinerary

Discover the diverse landscapes of Iceland with an epic tour that combines volcanoes, hot springs, and waterfalls into one spectacular trip! We'll begin our journey at Europe's most powerful hot springs, Deildartunguhver, which rests just north of Reykjavik and supplies hot water throughout the region, such as the towns of Borgarnes and Arkranes. We'll enjoy a photo stop here to see the clouds of steam bubbling up out of the pools. Then we'll discover some of Iceland's most unique waterfalls with a drive to Hraunfossar, also known as the lava falls. This array of cascades funnel out of nearby Hallmundarhraun lava field and into the Hvita River. Next, we'll enjoy a true Icelandic adventure as we slip on our caving gear and climb down into the 1,100 year old Vidgelmir Lava Cave, considered one of Iceland's mightiest caves and possible one of the oldest inhabited, with archaeological samples of human activity have been found here. Follow your expert guides along a series of walkways lit only by fixed lights and discover the untouched beauty of this subterranean world of lava carved rock formations and caverns. We'll end the day with a trip to the geothermal pool in Húsafell where you can relax in teh warm waters, a perfect finale to our trip.
