11:00 - Make your own way to the meeting point at
3820 University Ave S, Fairbanks, AK 99709.
Please arrive by 11:45 for check-in with a valid ID. Kindly ensure you plan your time accordingly, as transportation to the meeting point is not included.
13:00 - Board a flight to
Coldfoot Camp Airport (estimated flight duration: 1 hour 10 minutes).
Upon arrival, transfer by bus to
Coldfoot Camp, where you will enjoy approximately 1 hour of free time.
You may visit the northernmost post office in the U.S. to send postcards or enjoy a meal at the local camp restaurant.
15:45 - Regroup and begin the overland journey back to Fairbanks.
(Please use the restroom and purchase snacks before departure to prepare for the long drive.)
17:30 - Arrive at the
Arctic Circle Sign, where you'll receive your
Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate as a keepsake of your polar journey. (Stopover: at least 15 minutes.)
20:00 - Arrive at
Yukon River Camp for a short rest before continuing the journey.
23:00 - Arrive at the
Arctic Circle Trading Post, where you'll have a brief rest stop.
Guests may choose to join an
optional aurora viewing experience (at their own expense), waiting for the Northern Lights to appear.
Estimated return to hotels: between
3:30 and 4:30.
Other guests will be dropped off at their Fairbanks hotels between 1:00 and 2:00.
