Itinerary

This is an extremely rare view of the Hoover Dam that very few people have the opportunity to see along the Black Canyon National Water Trail. Guests board large comfortable rafts that have been carefully constructed with safety in mind. Rafts have multiple air chambers and are outfitted with all of the Coast Guard required and recommended safety equipment. During this excursion, experienced and knowledgeable guides share the history of this magnificent geological area. The high canyon walls will leave you breathless. Be prepared to see Desert Big Horn Sheep, Osprey, and Great Blue Heron in their natural setting. This tour stops along the shore to give you a chance to enjoy the cool, clear and calm waters below Hoover Dam. You might take this opportunity to enjoy the box lunch provided while watching and listening to the sights and sounds of this magnificent desert. Your trip ends on the Arizona side of the Colorado River at Willow Beach - the uppermost boundary of Lake Mohave. Here you have the chance to shop for unique souvenirs of your trip before boarding air-conditioned tour buses for the return trip over the Mike O'Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge to our tour desk or your Las Vegas hotel.     • Special Notes

  • Tour Procedure: Hotel pick up between 7:55am-9:00am, check in at 9:30am in the Lake Mead RV Village. The trip departs at approximately 10:00am and returns at approximately 2:30pm.
  • Before tour starts, customers may be picked up from hotels to departure point to meet tour guide, please understand. Your final pick up location is subject to the final confirmation. Please ask the hotel staff to confirm the accurate pick-up location for one hotel may have many entrances. Please arrive there at least 10 min prior your pick-up time. If you cannot find the bus, please call the Emergency Phone Number on the voucher/E-ticket to get help.
  • Visitors 12 years and younger are required to wear lifejackets which are provided by Black Canyon River Adventures.
  • Travel Tips:
    - Stay hydrated and drink plenty of fluids.
    - Sun protection: wear hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen recommended.
    - Comfortable and weather appropriate outdoor attire recommended, swimsuits for hot weather and Jackets for cold weather.
    - Bring motion sickness medication if necessary.
    - Cell phone coverage may be weak in some areas.
