This is also an excellent time to explore Zaragoza. The latter part of the season is dominated by the city's most significant event: the Fiestas del Pilar in October, which draws massive crowds for a week-long celebration of music, parades, and tradition. Outside of the festival, the stable, comfortable temperatures of early autumn provide a perfect opportunity to explore the historical center and the area around the Roman walls at a relaxed pace with significantly fewer crowds than during the festival week.
