This was an excellent but very active trip. We had a great group from all over - Australia, New Zealand, America and Canada ranging in age from 19 to 80plus. We covered a lot of ground, including some long travel days and long walking in heat (40degrees C) on cobblestones, roads and bricks. Up early, portage was excellent, and up late as Spaniards done late. We saw amazing architecture, beautiful scenery, palaces, and churches. Most of the accommodation was excellent. It was worth doing the optional excursions, although it added significantly to the cost. Overall an excellent journey. It would have been nice to have more detail about length and intensity of our walking tours. And maybe a clearer idea of distances involved. Recommended
Well-Organized and Vegetarian-Friendly Adventure
This 7-day tour was everything I hoped for and more! The itinerary was well-planned, covering iconic cities like Valencia and Zaragoza, with a perfect mix of guided tours and free time. Belmonte Castle was a standout experience – the views were incredible! As a vegetarian, I appreciated the effort to provide diverse and delicious meal options. The guides were professional and made the trip enjoyable for everyone. I would definitely book this tour again!
It was amazing tour
I loved the trip and met some amazing fellow travellers and the local guides really helped elevate the overall experience with their enthusiasm and knowledge. This was the trip of a lifetime!
We had a great time on our tour to Segovia and Toledo from Madrid. Very comfortable bus and we loved our guide Steffi! She was very informative as well as entertaining. Both city tours had both guided and personal time which was great. Toledo has lots of steps so if you have mobility issues take note. Segovia is our favorite and this was our second visit. The Alcuzar tour is not guided so read up on its history.....it's amazing! Thanks for a great day!
