Best Saguaro National Park Tours & Trips

The largest cacti in the United States are located in this 91,442-acre national park surrounding the Arizona city of Tucson. Saguaro National Park was created in 1994 and was designated a national monument in 1933. It is named for its main feature of the enormous tree-sized Saguaro cactus that only grows in the Sonoran Desert and can live as long as 250 years. The cactus' white bloom is the Arizona state flower. Many other types of cacti like Engelman's prickly pear, Pinkflower hedgehog, Fishhook barrel, and Staghorn cholla also grow throughout Saguaro National Park.

7-Day Natural & Cultural Tour · Los Angeles, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Sedona, Las Vegas and Death Valley

5 national parks and many beautiful sites in 7 days

The tour was well organized from pick-up to drop off. One important thing to keep in mind is that this type of bus tour covers a very long distance, you will visit many sites with limited but enough time to get a taste of these places but I was content with the amount of sites we visited.

FAQs about Saguaro National Park Tours

Where is the best place to see the iconic Saguaro National Park sign for photos?

Saguaro National Park is open daily from 7:00 AM to sunset. Entrance stations and signs are accessible during these hours. The park is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Check the NPS website for holiday exceptions and temporary closures due to weather.
