* Arrival time in Banff may vary depending on the duration of activities. Thank you for your understanding.
* The concession access fee for Moraine Lake is mandatory and applies to all ages at the same rate.
* Moraine Lake: Seasonally open. Typical opening period: Victoria Day long weekend in May to late September or early October each year, subject to the announcement by the National Park Authority. If closed and inaccessible, the following alternative attractions will be provided: Lake Minnewanka (30 minutes) + Vermilion Lakes (15 minutes), and the mandatory entrance fee for Moraine Lake will be waived.
Leave the hotel early in the morning and head west along Highway 1 (Hwy 1). The steep and imposing Castle Mountain will come into full view, and shortly after you will reach Lake Louise, one of the most famous lakes in the Rocky Mountains. Under the sunlight, the mineral-rich water shimmers with a breathtaking turquoise hue, embraced on three sides by the towering Victoria Glacier.
Like a precious jade scattered among the mountains, it is known as the "Sapphire of the Rockies". From the lakeshore, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise stands quietly among pine forests, ready to welcome visitors.
Then proceed to the top of the walking trail for Moraine Lake (seasonal). Its crystal-clear turquoise water reflects the rugged Ten Peaks; standing at the overlook, you can take in the full view of the lake and mountains, losing track of time in the breathtaking scenery.
After leaving Moraine Lake, head to Lake Louise Village for lunch (at own expense; optional Grill & Bar lunch upgrade available).
Following lunch, continue westbound and pass through the Spiral Tunnels, built with the blood, sweat and tears of Pacific Railway workers, before entering Yoho National Park. Arrive at the peaceful Emerald Lake, where red canoes glide across the calm water, creating gentle ripples.
Next, visit the Natural Bridge, formed over time by the relentless erosion of the Kicking Horse River. The river channel, tall pine trees, distant mountains and shallow shoals form a picturesque landscape. Return to Banff at the end of the tour.
