Itinerary

You may choose to purchase an optional activity, including dogsledding, ice fishing or snowmachining. These can be arranged through your guide. * Dogsled Kennel Tour (This tour would take approximately 2.5 hours) After a quick 15-minute drive to our favorite professional musher's kennel, you will learn about the mushing lifestyle and the essential role dog teams have played in Alaska history, then tour the kennel and pet the puppies! Then, it's time to load up on the sled for an invigorating ride through the frosted forest (about 30 minutes' ride time), then return to the kennel cabin to warm up with hot drinks while your fellow travelers take a spin through the woods. Mushing is still a means of transportation in some remote locations and a variety of short- and long-distance dog sled races enable mushers to earn big prize money to support their lifestyle. * Ice Fishing Tour with BBQ (This tour would take approximately 2.5 hours) Learn and enjoy a favorite Alaska winter pastime and get your fish on! Get cozy in our guide’s heated fishing hut and drop your bait through a hole augered through the foot-thick ice to pull in a lunker, then the guide will cook it up right there for you to snack on while you wait for the next nibble. Trade stories, or invent great fish tales with your friends while you learn the tricks of the trade from your guide. * Snowmachine Tour (This tour would take approximately 2.5 hours) Don’t call it a snowmobile in Alaska! Learn the basics of operating a snowmachine, from safety to steering and stopping, then strap on your helmet and off you go on the Iron Horse of the Northland. Your knowledgeable guide will keep an eye out for your safety and enjoyment as you cruise over a frozen lake and across beautiful wooded trails. Come on and enjoy a scenic route with lots of fresh snow as we experience the paradise on earth. (Please bring you winter gear such as waterproof suits, hat, gloves and warm boots to avoid frostbite.) Later in the day, explore fascinating local culture with a visit to Fairbanks Morris Thompson Cultural Center. Learn about the history of Interior Alaska and its first people, the Koyukon Athabascans, who have lived in the region for thousands of years. Find out more about the modern economic forces that have shaped the city, the discovery of gold in 1898, the ongoing growth of the military in the region from WWII to today, the construction of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline in the 1970's and forward to today's diversified economy. Visit the Cultural Center gift shop to don traditional Athabascan clothing for photographs. Exquisitely hand-crafted parkas, coats and mittens made of animal skins and furs are available for you to wear while a photographer snaps pictures for you, a wonderful keepsake from your visit to Alaska! We hope you have enjoyed a great time with us on our four-day Fairbanks tour! Have a good night of sleep in Fairbanks before your Arctic Circle adventure starts in the morning. You may choose to add an optional additional night of aurora viewing this evening, or just enjoy relaxing on your own.

Amendment Policy:
For transportation, equipment failure, government strikes, guest illness, sudden accidents, weather changes, or other personal reasons that result in failing to attend the tour on time. You can transfer your tour to others for free of charge. For changing or delaying your itinerary, we will try our best to help you reduce the loss, but we cannot bear this part of the cost, so please follow the following rules:
Amendment made before 13 days (inclusive) prior to the departure date: Postponement or change of itinerary: no penalty
Amendment made within 12 days (inclusive) prior to the departure date:
Postponement or change of itinerary: if the tour involves the following items, the cost of this part and the hotel expense on the first night will be deducted, and the remaining will be refunded or directly deducted into the other bookings of the change. The items are as follows:

Aurora is a natural phenomenon and depends on solar activity. You are not guaranteed to see it.

All the itinerary schedules are as above, but they could be changed according to your travel date, and the weather.

We strongly recommend that you confirm the receipt of our trip and then buy air tickets.

This journey requires a US visa.

If your itinerary includes a connection to Alaska, once you have received confirmation of the tour from us, please provide your travel details promptly and we do our best to get your vehicle connections/flights to the desired destination of the tour departure.

If you fail to provide timely and accurate flight information, it will result in a delay in the deployment of vehicles, tour confirmations, and personnel. We reserve the right, free of confrontations, to refuse service to those individuals.

Due to fire safety requirements in Alaska, extra beds cannot be added to hotel rooms. Every room is furnished with 2 beds.

The optional tour is affected by the weather factors. If the tour got cancelled, we will issue a refund.

The items included in the itinerary and the meals indicated in the itinerary are the designated items. If you are unable to participate in the itinerary, it’s considered you have voluntarily given up and no refund will be issued.

If there is any discrepancy between the schedule and the tour guide, please refer to the guide time.

The order of the trip will be adjusted according to your departure dates and weather conditions.

Irresistible factor
If it is affected by irresistible factors (including but not limited to: natural disasters, government or social activities, accidents or malfunctions, etc.), we will consider the safety and rights of tourists as the first prerequisites, and according to the actual situation on site, we have the right to take appropriate reactions and make appropriate adjustments, such as temporarily changing the time or content of the itinerary or even canceling some or all of the attractions, etc. We will retain the final interpretation.
Natural disasters: floods, earthquakes, hail, blizzards, tsunamis, etc.
Government or social activities: war, strikes, marches, political alternations, policy changes, terrorist threats, etc.
Accidents or malfunctions: tour bus malfunction, equipment damage, traffic accidents, etc.

Tourists Reason
If the tourists fail to meet the tour guide at the location on time for personal reasons (including but not limited to diseases, accidents, late arrivals, etc.) and miss the bus, which result in failing to participate the tour, we will not take any responsibility, reschedule nor refund.
Attention:
a) Please arrive at the meeting place at least 10-15 minutes in advance.
b) You can contact our number 1-2 days before departure to confirm the time and location again.

Change of itinerary
If you need to leave early in the middle of the tour or have other personal arrangements, please inform us by email or other ways 30 days before the tour date to ensure the specific arrangements will be made to the itinerary. If you fail to notify us on time, we will not be responsible for any inconvenience caused by the change of the itinerary (such as delay of the departure flight, unable to visit your local friends, etc.)

In order to protect your own property, please bring any valuable items with you at all times. Please do not leave any valuable items on the bus/hotel/attraction/restaurant etc. Tours4fun, local operators, drivers and tour guides will not take any responsibility for any theft or loss at any location.

Depending on your arrival time, your hotel room may not be available until the afternoon. Most hotels allow check-in between 1:00pm-3:00pm, however some charge a fee for early check-in. Please check at the hotel desk to see if you may store your luggage at the hotel if you wish to explore the city on your own before check-in.
