This unincorporated area within Yosemite National Park contains a visitor's center, post office, medical offices, gift shops, restaurants, museums, ATM machines, lodging and other services. Yosemite Village was designed in rustic style for the National Park Service by landscape architect Charles Punchard, Jr. and many park employees live there. Points of interest are the Ansel Adams Gallery, Yosemite Lodge, Art Activity Center, The Ahwahnee Hotel and the Indian Village.
