This Canadian park created in 1941 is named after the fabled Thunderbird of aboriginal tribes of North America and displays totem poles and other artifacts of indigenous tribes including Kwakwaka'wakw, Gitxsan, Haida, Songhees and Esquimalt. Visitors can see native cultural events and learn about the First Nation people at The Mungo Martin House as well as historical relics of British Columbia at St. Ann's Pioneer Convent and the Helmcken House museum.
