Best Route 66 Tours & Trips

Route 66 is a 2,400-mile highway that runs from Chicago to Los Angeles. Paved in 1926, the route was popular until more direct interstates were completed in the 1980s. Today travelers still road trip down what John Steinbeck called The Mother Road, past historical landmarks through Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. Grab a bite at Dixie Truckers Home in Illinois that has been serving travelers since 1928. For a bit of history, visit Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore, Oklahoma. Then pass Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo and the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe on the way to the Santa Monica Pier.

11-Day Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Yosemite and Monument Valley Lodging Tour from Las Vegas [Max 13 Small Group]

A fantastic experience!

Taking the grandkids out west before they move, we worked with Becky and booked a private tour for 6 and had a marvelous time. Tours4fun and our guide Charlie, were tremendous. We had two birthdays on the tour, on pickup we had a birthday decorated van, cupcakes at Zion and doughnuts with sprinkles coming off the Colorado River! Seamless, comfortable, engaging, informative, professional, caring, I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Our guide catered to our needs and wants and ensured we got to do everything we wished for! Go with Tours4fun, enjoy the experience of folks who know exactly what to see and how to get you there! We saw Zion, Bryce, Goblin Valley, Moab, Hummer tour, Moab Colorado River rafting, Arches, Canyonlands, El Patio, Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, Dinosaur Tracks, Grand Canyon rim hike, Helicopter tour, Delgadalitos on Route 66 Las Vegas, Speedcube in Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite and San Francisco. All with stops geared to our interests and our young travelers!!

3-Day National Parks Lodging Winter Tour from Vegas: Grand Canyon, Zion, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell & Monument Valley | Max 13 Small Group

Highly recommend!

Joel & The Tours4fun team put together a memorable, informative and most enjoyable 3 day tour of the canyons. The time in the vehicle between the canyons and stops may have been long but Joel made sure we had enough rest stops to stretch our legs. He used the time in vehicle to share his wealth of knowledge and experience of the area and we felt it added significantly to the experience. It is alot of driving but completely worth it to see the spectacular sights. The accommodations booked for each night were more than comfortable, with great amenities and close proximity to resturants for the evening meal. The staff at each hotel were friendly and happy to help in any way. (my son left a parcel at our 1st hotel and due to the distances we travel, we could not return to collect it, but the hotel made a plan and sent it to our final desitination before flying home). The food was plenty and very tasty, the stand out lunch was definately the fry bread taco at Goulding's Stage Couch diner. The itinerary was amazing and covered everything and so much more. The stop for lunch on day 1 in Seligman and the historic Route 66 was fantastic. Having conversations with the townfolk (super friendly) and walking the streets was very enjoyable and so many opportunities for photos. We did the optional Helicopter ride and would highly recommend it to give you a view of the Grand Canyon that is unparalleled. That 1st sight of the Grand Canyon takes your breath away. The sunrise on day 2 from the north rim of the Grand Canyon was emotional and breathtaking. As you drive with a guide through the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park later that day, you are transported back in time and Stephen our guide brought its history and people to life. Ending the day with sunset at Horshoe Bend gave me goosbumps and stunning photos, along with significant memories made. One of the highlights was walking through Antelope Canyon with our guide on the morning of day 3, it was mesmerising and we were awestruck by its beauty. The time spent in Zion National Park was exhilarating, we enjoyed lunch and then hiked to the Emerald Pools all the while enjoying the majestic mountains surrounding us. Photos do not fully capture the grandure and the majesty of Zion Canyon. All the while, Joel is exoanding our knowledge and minds with information about all the places we visted or even just drove past. I canot recommend this tour enough, if you can only choose one tour to do on your holiday, you have to do this one with Joel.
