The Rhine Falls (or Rheinfalls) are powerful waterfalls located near Schaffhausen. Formed about 15,000 years ago, the falls are over 75 feet high and 492 feet wide. Take a boat ride to the middle and climb the rock surrounded by the falls, cross the 1800s railway bridge, or embark on a canoe trip.
