The historic Boston two-story structure was built between 1824-26 as an indoor marketplace and named for then-Mayor Josiah Quincy. Designed by Alexander Parris in Greek Revival style, Quincy Market is a U.S. National Historic Landmark and is still a popular attraction today containing food vendors and eateries.
