Best Puente Viejo Day Trips & Things to Do

This stone bridge was built in the 16th century to cross the deep chasm of the tajo, or gorge. Its function as the sole linkage between the two districts of the town of Ronda was replaced in the late 18th century with the completion of the Puente Nuevo. Today it is used as a pedestrian-only bridge, with the beautiful Arco de Felipe V located just above it. From here, you have excellent views of the gorge below.
