The 749-foot high skyscraper finished in 1964 is the second tallest building in Boston and was designed by Charles Luckman and Associates for Prudential Insurance. Prudential Tower's Skywalk Observatory on its 50th floor is the highest observation area available in the New England states. Visitors can go even further up to dine at the Top of the Hub restaurant on the 52nd Floor. The tower is part of the larger property of Prudential Center, which offers office space and a retail area with 75 stores and restaurants.
