The Plaza Toros Las Ventas is the home of bullfighting in Spain. Built in the Neo-Mudejar style, the structure looks older than it is. The venue, which seats 25,000 spectators, replaced Madrid’s former main bullring in 1929. Las Ventas Bullring is in the Salamanca district of Madrid, northeast of the city center. It hosts the San Isidro fiesta – the world’s most popular bullfighting festival – every year in May and June.
