The 19-acre attraction located in Mystic, Connecticut is a replica of a 19th Century New England village containing historic ships, a shipyard and exhibits. Mystic Seaport Museum opened in 1929 and four of its ships are U.S. National Historic Landmarks. Its also has a children's museum, research center and a planetarium.
