It was constructed from 1958-63 in International-style and designed by Emery Roth & Sons along with Pietro Belluschi and Walter Gropius. The 59-floor structure along Park Avenue is now New York City's third largest building and contains company headquarters of MetLife and other firms, stores and restaurants.
