There is no road access to this very small town, as the only access points are via the ocean or the river. Calle Principal is the main street that runs through Livingston, and has the majority of town shops, restaurants, and bars, which makes everything very easy to find. A number of languages are spoken including Spanish, Garifuna, and English, and although the town is small there are more than enough things to do include visiting the beach.
