This legendary symbol of freedom in the United States containing a distinctive crack is on display protected by a glass case in the Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The mostly copper Liberty Bell was made in 1752 by British firm White Chapel Foundry with the the Bible verse "Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the Land unto all the inhabitants thereof" engraved on it.
