The Main Street retail district of the Larchmont neighborhood of Los Angeles still containing many "mom-and-pop" stores and restaurants in addition to some national chains. A one-of-a-king shopping and dining experience can be found in Larchmont Village. The area can be seen in the television show "Keystone Kops" and in the 1936 Three Stooges movie "False Alarms."
