The 160-acre California theme park constructed on a berry farm in Buena Park features 40 rides including 10 roller coasters and the famous cartoon dog Snoopy and his friends. Knott's Berry Farms was opened in 1940 by Walter Knott and has expanded greatly throughout the years. The Knott family sold berries, jams and pies from a road stand in previous decades before creating the theme park that is divided into the themed areas of Ghost Town, Fiesta Village, The Boardwalk, Indian Trails and Camp Snoopy.
