Best Holy Cross Church Tours from Prague

This baroque Roman Catholic Church dates back to 1682. It was completed in 1757 but like so much of Warsaw was destroyed during the Warsaw Uprising and the rest of World War II. After the war it was rebuilt, and today it stands across from the University of Warsaw. Most famously, it contains the heart of Polish composer Frederic Chopin, which is held in an urn behind a tablet on one of the church’s pillars.
