Resting near the Hornafjördur fjord in southeastern Iceland, Hofn is a small harbor town located beside the Vatnajökull glacier, the biggest glacier in Europe. Its diverse fishing industry has expanded the village over the 20th century into the second largest harbor in Iceland and is host to the an annual summer lobster festival. The surrounding region has been utlized for film scenes from Christopher Nolan's "Batman Begins" and the James Bond films "Die Another Day" and "A View to a Kill."
