This town in southern Bohemia attracts visitors with its Windsor-style Hluboka Castle. It is also home to Townshend International School, which was established in 1992. The small village that visitors pass through on their way to the castle has several shops and restaurants. Of note, Eduard Bloch was from Frauenberg (now Hluboka nad Vltavou). The doctor cared for the Hitler family until 1907.
